Climbing out of Soledad Canyon to the town of Acton, is No. 14 the northbound Coast Starlight. Bridge replacement on the Coast Route has the Starlight rerouted through Solidad canyon, the Mojave desert, Tehachapi Pass, Central Valley and over Altamont Pass to the Bay Area.
