The conductor of NS U45 rides on the platform of the caboose as the empty coal train makes a reverse move off of the Clinch Valley mainline and onto the Big Toms Creek Branch. The train is about to cross Front St. in downtown Coeburn, VA and is heading toward the end of the branch for flood loading. The switch for the branch is roughly a dozen cars or so from the caboose into the train.
