| WP 3504 West approaches the lead at Charter Way as it prepares to enter Stockton Yard. No. 3504 wears one of several paint schemes WP tried before settling on the all-orange nose. 3504 was built in May 1966 as part of an order for 10 GP40s. WP started buying the upgraded GP40-2 model in 1979. |
