One of the remarkable 0-6-2+2-6-0T compound articulated goods locomotives designed by Gaston du Bousquet, Chief Mechanical Engineer of the Nord Railway, for hauling goods trains round the Paris Ceinture Railway (or belt line). A total of 99 were built with originally 48 going to the Nord, 13 to the Est and the remaing 38 to the Ceinture railways. Eventually all but 16 ended up on the Ceinture. Photo by the late O.J. Morris.
