| A pair of veteran BN units, with a combined 97 years of service, wait for orders to go shuffle freight cars in the Denver Yard. BNSF 1680 was built in 1973 for the Burlington Northern and BNSF 2897 started life as a GP35 in 1964 with the Southern Pacific, and was upgraded to a GP39M when assigned to the Burlington Northern. |
