| Having not made the trip to Horseshoe Curve since I was maybe 5 years old, it was time I made the pilgrimage to see the fall colors. They weren't anything to write home about, but the volume of traffic was phenomenal; the curve wasn't empty for more than 5 minutes at a time for the few hours I spent there. Here, an autorack train is attacking the mountain as it meets the rear-end helps of a stack train drifting downgrade into Altoona. |
