Remarks & Notes

A cool, icy day greets a trio of Santa Fe GP7s about to go to work at Corwith Yard, Chicago, IL in January 1976. The lead unit is in "dress blue" and was a stem generator equipped unit when built in October 1950. By 1976 it was getting tougher to find the older blue scheme as the rear units attest to.
