Remarks & Notes

The return of the 231G 558: for the first time since 2009 the PVC's 231G 558 comes back to life after overhaul. The tedious SNCF paperwork is not yet fully done, as some redundant official assessment of the geometry of the wheels must be done, although the wheels have brand new shoes from an expert workshop. This kind of stupid red tape costs a lot to preservation associations.
