Remarks & Notes
Only making 11mph, this BNSF oil train is struggling up the 2% grade located north of Greenville, California. The train has just exited the Greenville Tunnel and will soon round a series of tight curves on its treacherous climb towards Lake Almanor. At Almanor, it will take the siding to pass a southbound military train. From there, it will copy a fresh warrant and head off into the forgotten lands of Northeast California.
