Cold weather makes good steam as this JS Class locomotive demonstrates leaving the coal mine's "Blue Loader". The shift is almost over for this crew as they make one last trip to the washery after they climb out of the pit. Upgrade trains take the far right at 82 Station while downgrade trains will use the center track. The far left track seen here is a shunting neck used for trains to work around each other in the loading area.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
