| The new kids on the block. CN has been looking to replace their aging EMD fleet in the ore pool and this seems to be their solution. These ex-C&NW C40-8s have been modified with straight air controls to work the Orinoco system found on the ore car fleet.
CN 2010, 2004 and 2013 lead the 144 empty ore cars north pausing to give a roll-by to a all EMD consist U-789 heading south with 144 loads of taconite pellets. |
