Later in the day RJAY was still tied down as it would be for the following several hours, seen here the power sits in direct winter sunlight just eight minutes after noon, leader being one of Union Pacific's new EMD SD70AH's UP 3047. Later that day the power would be taken off and Pan Am's power, ex CSX C-40's & B-40's would take it to Ayer, Mass.
