Early electric locomotive of the Rhaetian Railway, 588 kW Ge 4/6 # 353 for AC 11000 V 16,7 Hz, built by SLM Winterthur and MFO Oerlikon in 1914 for the line from Samedan to Scuol in the Engadine, which was electrified when opened in 1913. Two electromotors drive 4 axles via a rod drive, max velocity is 55 km/h. The # 353 is operational historic locomotive in Samedan nowadays.
