| An overview of part of the Connecticut Department of Transportation New Haven Shops shows a diverse mix of motive power and equipment. In the foreground are a pair of New Haven-heritage FL-9Ms, CNDX 2016 and 2014, reportedly part of the six such units currently “rumored” to be spending the summer leading Amtrak Hudson Line trains in and out of Grand Central Terminal. Two another pair of the Fs were moved indoors, while a leased P&W GP38-2 moves CNDX P40 834 in upper right; the new image CT Rail GP40-2H rests in front of the shops with CNDX P40 4803 and CNDX GP40-2H 6697 in New Haven paint. |
