Remarks & Notes

In September 1978, a photographer's special provided the rare possibility to depict BDe 4/4 111 which was usually kept inside the depot at Bonfol. Poor wheather severely limited the photographic yield. The special train is awaiting departure in Porrentruy station.

BDe 4/4 111 was built in 1910 by SWS and MFO as part of the original rolling stock of the Martigny - Orsières line and was taken over in 1967 by Chemins de fer du Jura to serve as a back-up for BDe 4/4 101 which would run the ordinary operation.
