Friendly waves A couple of friendly switchmen offer a wave from the rear of Union Pacific EMD SD40-2 No. 9947 while making a move in the yard at Green River, Wyoming, on September 15, 2006. The former Missouri Pacific locomotive is in need of some tender loving care and some new paint, but still performs well in its radio-controlled job of switching cars in a busy yard.
