New Hope & Ivyland's 2-8-0 rolls over the famed "Perils of Pauline" trestle just south of the depot, in New Hope, Pennsylvania. The trestle, built in 1891, travels over the Aquetong creek, once known as the Ingham Creek. A segment of the classic 1914 silent film; "The Perils of Pauline" was allegedly filmed just north of the trestle on the tracks used by the New Hope and Ivyland Railroad and the "Ingham Creek Trestle thereby got its nickname. *Photo taken with permission on private property.
