With an eruption of steam, seen for miles, NH&I's 2-8-0 No. 40 proves itself no longer dormant, coming back to life after an extensive 3 plus year restoration. To the right, a father holds his daughter in his arms to watch the 1 pm excursion depart as a drone to the far left capture the moment on video. Myself.. I was happy to capture it on 30 million pixels, representing one of my best efforts to catch No. 40 at the station, in snow, with great light and lots of smoke and steam!
