New Hope & Ivyland's 2-8-0 No. 40 arrives at the crest of the slope at Lahaska, PA. From here, by the visitors platform used by the likes of Santa and the Easter Bunny, the engineer has a clear view of the terminus of the excursion line, by the "depot" at Lahaska some 3,000 feet ahead.
