Remarks & Notes

Engineer's side of New Hope & Ivyland's 2-8-0 No. 40 arriving at the crest of the slope at Lahaska, PA. The visitors platform to the far left is used by the likes of Santa and the Easter Bunny. From this point, the engineer has a clear view of the terminus of the excursion line, by the "depot" at Lahaska some 3,000 feet ahead.
