Remarks & Notes
Abandoned narrow gauge hopper cars belonging to the East Broad Top Railroad sit staged ready for an assignment that never came, left frozen in time. Though abandoned, they are not without ownership and a heartfelt thanks to their owner, the current owner of the EBT, Joe Kovalchick, whose father Nick, then president of Kovalchick Salvage, purchased the railroad on April 14th, 1956 and elected not to scrap the railroad right away, instead letting it sit in place.
