| A former Baltimore and Ohio F7A, MDOT 7100 was the first of several F-units to be rebuilt by Morrison-Knudsen for Maryland commuter service. Unlike the other rebuilds, the 7100 lost its prime mover and traction motors in exchange for a small Cummins diesel engine and HEP generator. The unit is seen at the IHB's Blue Island Yard awaiting delivery east to its new owner. Tom Golden photo. |
