On the morning of August 4, 2001, Ansco’s Rio Grande Ski Train approaches Big 10 Curve between Rocky and Clay, Colorado. This summer edition of passenger train is being operated to Winter Park for hikers, and mountain bikers, along with providing transportation to special events held on certain weekends at Winter Park.

The Winter Park Ski Train has taken generations of Denverites to the slopes. Started by the Rio Grande and now operated by Amtrak, it's the best way to get there.
