Scanned image (original on Kodachrome - camera used was a Voitlander Vitomatic) © Lindsay Bridge from The Lindsay Bridge Vintage South African Railways Collection and submitted here with permission. This is Lindsay’s footbridge view of a Class GEA (4-8-2+2-8-4) Garrat with a full on clerestory roofed passenger train, alongside Type A-18 Dining Car “KUMANI” No. 183 at George Station in the Western Cape.
