In 2018, the Blonay-Chamby Railroad/Museum is celebrating 50 years of operation. This nice train is the oldest operational on 1 meter gauge of Switzerland. The locomotive is the "newest", 128 years old "only"! 0-6-0 G 3/3 # 5 of the Lausanne-Echallens-Bercher railway (LEB), was built in 1890 by Société Alsacienne de Constructions Mécaniques (SACM) at Grafenstaden. Covered freight car K # 30 of the Schweizerische Lokalbahnen is from 1874, passenger car B # 5 was built in 1868 by Chevallier & Cheilus at Paris for the Mont Cenis pass railway and from 1871 running for the Lausanne-Echallens railway. All three vehicles are perfectly restored by members of the Blonay-Chamby Railroad/Museum!
