Two powerfull not operational steamlocomotives of the collection Blonay-Chamby, in front of the shed at Chaulin museum. On the left 0-10-0 G 5/5 # 99 193, built in 1927 by Maschinenfabrik Esslingen for the Deutsche Reichsbahn, line Nagold-Altensteig with heavy grades of 4.0 %. It came to the Blonay-Chamby in 1969 and is not operational since a long time, but got a completely new "photographic paint" in grey/black/red in 2017. On the right is the large 0-6-0+0-6-0 "Mallet" G 2x3/3 # 104, built by Hanomag in 1925 for the line Zell-Todtnau of the Süddeutsche Eisenbahngesellschaft (SEG). The locomotive came to the Blonay-Chamby in 1967 and was operational a few years only. Now a project was started, to make it operational in a few years, a large task! Because the locomotive #104 is standing on a curved track, the displacement of the boiler axle in relation to the moving drive with buffer beam is clearly visible.
