Remarks & Notes |
In one of the more interesting pairings of motive power on the Vermont Rail System, Vermont Railway's oldest and newest purchased road locomotives are teamed to haul freight over the Green Mountain Railroad. Built in December 1972, Vermont Railway GP38-2 201 was the company's first newly-purchased road unit, while the 432 was built in December of 2006 and acquired by VTR in 2015 from First Union Leasing and was originally constructed for the Florida East Coast. |
