Southern Pacific Golden State dining car “Golden Trencher” is freshly-painted and on display at the Union Station Railroad Museum at Mendota, Illinois, on April 8, 2016. I didn’t have the opportunity to check it out during my visit, but apparently the interior of the car is nicely-preserved as well.
