Grain In The Elements
In the driving late fall rain, CSX V134-05 (Calhoun,GA-Terra Hute,IN) is slowly coming to a safe stop at the crew change point on the old main at Wauhatchie Pike (MP J-145.7 Wauhatchie). The inbound Atlanta Div crew had a short journey approximately 60 rail-miles north to the crew change point from the Pilgrim Pride Feed Mill just north of Calhoun, GA on the Western & Atlantic Sub. Now the 5,496 ft long empty train will wait till the outbound crew to go on duty at 4pm, for the mean time the inbound crew will wait for a taxi to ride back to the crew room at Wauhatchie Yard, and the outbound crew will get a ride to it's train board and the outbound crew will run the train to Nashville, TN on its long journey to Gavilon-Graham Grain feed mill for reloading at Terra Hute,IN.
