Western Maryland Scenic Railroad 734 poses, after a long day of storming the the line to the delight of photographers, at the former Western Maryland Depot in Cumberland. This was one of the engines last runs and unfortunately, my only time seeing her before she was taken out of service. Hopefully "Mountain Thunder" as she's affectionally known, will return one day.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
