Remarks & Notes
GG1 4875 hums past the historic station at Newark, DE, with a southbound Amtrak ballast train. This elegant brick station was built in 1877 by the Philadelphia, Wilmington & Baltimore Railroad, a PRR predecessor. The GG1 was one of the 16 that went to New Jersey Transit, apparently borrowed by Amtrak for work train service.
