Say cheese! One of the highlights of the New York Transit Museum/MTA New York City Transit Subway “Parade of Trains” on June 16, 2018 was the lineup of vintage trains north of the Ocean Parkway Station (Brighton) after the day’s activities had ended. Timing it correctly even allows for a “photobomb” of 8938 (R-160B, Kawasaki, 2005-2008) adding to the over 100 year range of cars - next to 3184 (R-10, ACF, 1948) 1407 (BU/Elevated, Jewett/Pressed Steel, 1907) 2392 (A Type, ACF, 1914-1918) 6095 (Triplex-D, ACF, 1925-1928). Thanks to all who worked to make this such a memorable event! The Parade will run again on Sunday, June 17, 2018, but the lineup was a Saturday only occurrence for the event.
