| The Spencer Local crew cabbed into Mason City to bring out an empty bean train for loading in western Iowa. This is about a month after the DM&E boys took over the IMRL at the end of July 2002. These classic IMRL consists were being fazed out, so this was a cool catch! Seen here just west of Whittemore, working towards Spencer. The IMRL was dissolved into the IC&E on On July 29, 2002.
