Remarks & Notes
A profile shot of Great Western Railway's 2-10-0 No. 90.

Looking right at home in Pennsylvania, this 1924 Baldwin built locomotive made the trip from Colorado back to its state of manufacture in 1967 to become the 4th steam locomotive on the Strasburg Rail Road's roster. CP No. 7312, an 0-6-0 arrived first in 1960, along with PRR No. 1223, a 4-4-0 (on lease), followed by RDG No. 4, an 0-4-0 Cambelback, in 1962.

Captured here in the Winter of 2013, the locomotive was backdated for a Lerro Productions charter. Modifications included aluminum paint for the smoke box, white paint for the tires, stripping on the tender and running boards, original logo on both tender and cab along with the swapping of the "90" on the domes. The number plate reverted to black, a smooth side pilot was fabricated and new number glass for the headlight was also part of the transformation. Strasburg had shortened the smoke box long ago and while the third dome is rumored to still exist, a new appliance (between the cab and the whistle) has since taken it's place.
