An old MR-63 trainset pauses at Plamondon station during the afternoon rush hour. On May 30, 2018, the Société de transport de Montréal (STM) announced that after 52 years of loyal service, all of its remaining MR-63 métro cars will be withdrawn from service on June 21, 2018. The last original train is now making an appearance on each métro line this week, during morning and afternoon rush hours only.
