Remarks & Notes
The Last One? I spotted the 8510, built in 1948 for the CB&Q, in Hialeah apparently getting some wheel or truck work. Heritage Diners haven't run in service in many months, and this may have been the last one still at its home maintenance base as a protect. A couple days later it deadheaded north, never to return again.

Pictures of things often unseen in the world of railroading. Interesting equipment, operations, and people that help the railroad go around.
