Under threatening skies CSX Q581-01 (Nashville,TN-Atlanta,GA) is slowly making its way into the small northwest Georgia community of Graysville,GA (MP WA-121.4 NE Graysville) south on the CSX Western & Atlanta Sub (WA). CSX 4849 is one of 19 SD70ACe's and were delivered to CSX in 2004 as a new generation of EMD locomotives at that time, making all 19 of the ACe's the rarest motive power on the CSX Locomotive Roster. Just on the last quarter of the 2017 year CSX had retire all 19 of the unique under performance locomotives, and was purchase by Progress Rail Service (PRLX) under it's leasing program. While the other 3 class 1 railroads, are still using the SD70ACe to this day, it was a jewel to see a CSX 70ACe here and there through out the CSX System.
