With new power slated to arrive later this summer, this will likely be the last period that these units are regulars on LM/ML type trains. Although ACe's handle most of the assignments, smaller SD40-2XR's and even an SD45 could have been found powering these trains on occasion in recent years. These units are slated to remain on the MRL's roster, but likely relegated to switch and local service with the exception of HPH. With a full LM on the drawbars, they head west.
