A westbound BNSF manifest freight train curves along the Missouri River past the townsite of Lombard, Montana, on the afternoon of June 30, 2018. The train passing under the abandoned right-of-way of Milwaukee Road’s Pacific Extension main line, which includes a curved bridge over the Missouri River that once also spanned Montana Rail Link’s former NP/BN main line on a now-removed through girder bridge.
