UP 1943 (The Spirit of Union Pacific) sits in the late evening sun waiting for UP 884 to lash up and get set to take passengers on the last Cheyenne Frontier Days train. The Denver Post, which sponsored the annual trek between Denver, Colorado and Cheyenne, Wyoming, has fallen on hard times and has announced this will be the last train sponsored by the paper.
