On July 10, the Graniteville to Montpelier Jct., VT run of the Washington County Railroad's Granite Division is seen rolling past the old Central Vermont depot in downtown Barre, Vermont, with granite loads destined form the Rock of Ages Quarry in Vermont to Oswego, New York, where the Army Corps of Engineers is rebuilding the breakwater on Lake Ontario for Oswego Harbor. Veteran Green Mountain Railroad GP-9R 804 leads VTR GP40-2 307 with the granite blocks heading for New England Central interchange at Montpelier Junction.
