Seen at the diesel service area in the East Los Angeles yard, Union Pacific 8073 was part of the Fast 40 series of SD40-2s, used on the high priority intermodal trains, and were usually paired with the DD40s. They had the long snoot nose, and some had the side slogan boards mounted to the handrails. Photo taken with permission.
