An eastbound intermodal heavy in maritime stacks thunders past Spences Bridge, BC. The small hamlet of Spences Bridge was once a important junction for the Kettle Valley Railroad that climbed the mountains to the south. Highway 8 in the foreground parallels the old Kettle Valley Railroad over the mountains to Merritt.
