| 2-6-0T cogwheel steamlocomotive HG 3/4 # 1 "Furkahorn" of the Dampfbahn Furka Bergstrecke, built in 1913 by SLM for the Brig-Furka-Disentis railway (BFD), is pulling train 157 (called "the Blue train") from Realp to Gletsch over the Steinstafel viaduct between Tiefenbach and Furka, on the eastern ascent to the Furka Pass. Between Gletsch and Oberwald, the passenger have to travel with the diesel train because of high wild fire risk. |
