With the Federal Railroad Administration testing equipment and cameras already installed on the New England Central GP38 3850, the decision was made this week to utilize this unit for operations over much of the testing territory on the NECR, Vermont Rail System and the Providence & Worcester. On August 6, an afternoon departure out of Rutland, Vermont, provided a different angle of the Cuttingsville hanging bridge on the Vermont Rail System's Bellows Falls Subdivision.
