FEC 713 leads NS 2717, the NS "Brick" 38, and the NS Geometry car north across the Crane Creek bridge in downtown Melbourne. The short geometry train was pretty quiet approaching the bridge as compared to the everyday, long FEC freight trains, and it seemed to have caught the birds by surprise. When the engineer blew the horn, they scattered.
