Remarks & Notes

For decades, the PRR end of the Northeast Corridor meant a steady parade of GG1-powered trains. Here Penn Central 4870 has just left Newark on its way to Penn Station, as seen from the platform of the PATH station in Harrison, NJ. Downtown Newark is in the background.
