The 1906 built 400 foot Willey Brook Bridge, which spans the gap between Mounts Willey and Willard is one of the most famous spots along the Conway Scenic's line on the old Maine Central Mountain Subdivision. Photographers often capture the "Notch Train" going East over the Bridge returning to North Conway from the rock face on the East side of the gap. This unique view shows a special Notch Train headed West. The BM 4266 was used on the train because the extra was part of the 2018 Railfan's Weekend. The train is bound for Whitefield, the end of the operable line. The 252 is a former Maine Central locomotive and is a veteran of this line, having pulled the last regular freight train across these very rails in 1983. Normally the train only goes as far as Crawford or Fabyan, depending on peak foliage.
