| The more than abandoned station of Barrios de Colina (population with only 50 inhabitants) is located more than three kilometers away from the town that gives it its name. To get here you have to travel a road so infamous that the last kilometer we have done walking to not destroy our car. The station is located between two tunnels and it is more than doubtful that at some time it has offered passenger service to the few inhabitants of the area. Probably in the past it was an infrastructure that had a strategic sense for the maintenance of the succession of tunnels in this area of the Madid-Irún line.
