CSX Q242-29 (Lawrenceville,GA-Smyrna,TN) is making the run up the steep east-end of Raccoon Mountain in the small community of Wildwood, GA (MP J-143.4 Wildwood). At 6,000+ ft in length the empty vehicle snakes it's way around the s-curve out of the yard lead. Today's Q242 will run north to Smyrna, TN instead of Louisville, KY. The as needed train will terminate just outside of the Nissan Automotive Plant where cars are need to be loaded. From there CSX M777-30 which is assigned to work the plant will take the whole train into the loading facility a section at a time. Meantime let just take a moment, and enjoy the sight of seeing an old 8000 series SD40-2 taking charge of the train.
